Amazon Linux 2027 enters public preview on AWS
- Platform/SRE — Learn: AL2027 preview surfaces meaningful changes — kernel 7.1+, SELinux enforcing by default, AWS-LC crypto — worth evaluating against workloads built on AL2023, but no migration decision is warranted before GA.
- CI/CD — Learn: Container base images are available on ECR Public Gallery in preview, useful for early pipeline testing against AL2027, but nothing to pin or migrate to before GA.
- Leader — Skip
- Signals: pre-GA (alpha/beta/RC/preview)
